In short
- Use it for ID types the app does not detect yet.
- Covers are drawn into the image pixels.
- Review every page before you export.
When to do it
Auto-redaction handles the common formats listed in How auto-redaction decides what to hide. Cover everything else yourself, for example a driver’s license number.
How
Open the page and drag across the text you want to hide. Tap a box if you want to remove it again.
Check the result
Zoom in on each page. After you export, open the file once more and look again before you send it.
