In short
- Scan the code on the Drop page with your phone.
- The code on the computer changes every 60 seconds.
- The file travels end-to-end encrypted through our relay and is deleted from it after download or within 24 hours.
Steps
- On the computer, open Drop.
- On your phone, open YomuScan, tap Share, then Send to a computer.
- Scan the code. The file appears in the browser; download it.
If the code expired
The code on the computer lasts 60 seconds. Choose Get a new code and scan again. A file you already sent waits on our relay, end-to-end encrypted, for up to 24 hours, then it is deleted.
Browsers
Drop needs a recent version of Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox. If yours is not supported, export a PDF from the app and email it to yourself.
